Richard Sangerman

Known for building lifelong business relationships through loyalty, trust, and integrity, Mr. Sangerman has an exceptional record in business development, sales management, marketing, public relations and retail.

An accomplished career in business made Mr. Sangerman instrumental in the development of such brands as Time Life Books, Liberty Medical, LifeLock, Nordic Trak, The Scooter Store and Bowflex - while a trusted advisor for industry giants like Ogilvy & Mather, Abbot Labs, AOL Time Warner, the Chia Pet Company, SmithKline Beecham and Reed Union.

Regarded as a “full spectrum leader”- one who shapes the future, delivers results, and energizes the team - Mr. Sangerman's intellect, business development skills and considerable management talents are clearly evident in a body of work that spans 35 years in the Direct Response and Retail industries.

As founder and chair of the Broadcast Direct Response Committee of the National Direct Marketing Association, Mr. Sangerman is deeply involved in key industry organizations where he brings knowledge and experience together to form and execute an industry vision.

In addition to being a recognized international public speaker, highly persuasive presenter and effective consensus-builder, Mr. Sangerman’s career has been at the vanguard of vision, creativity and enterprise - helping to shape many of the governing policies and practices widely used throughout the Direct Response industry.

Mr. Sangerman holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism from the University of Missouri and Integrated Advertising from Columbia College.

Currently Mr. Sangerman serves as the Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for More Media Direct Inc. An integrated full service media, retail, and product innovation company.

Mr. Sangerman resides with his wife and 3 grown children in Chicago where he enjoys playing music, volunteering, cooking, and playing competitive singles and doubles tennis.
